Sterling’s Face of the Farmer project began in 2012 by Lisa Perry as a documentation project of the town’s agricultural activity. The project was partially funded by the Sterling Local Cultural Council which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
In 2016, Lisa passed the project onto Hannah Miller. Hannah is a 2017 graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst, and a local farmer. You can learn more about her in the The Blog.
